How To Manipulate A Democracy

One day I tweeted “Whenever you have a system that’s around long enough people eventually figure out how to take advantage of it”. I’ll try to elaborate more the best that I can. No I’m not a conspiracy guy, that is not my goal. I’m just bringing awareness to the game.

3 Hands, 1 Behind Your Back

You’re a powerful person, there’s a goal that you want to accomplish. Taking down a competing country that’s in your way, lets call it “Xstan”. To accomplish anything in a democracy, you need the people’s support. Problem is, you don’t think people will get onboard with what you’re doing because some of it might be a bit questionable. You can’t be bothered with stupid idiots asking you “why is this important” or “why do we care”, “Why are we doing this”, “Why can’t you just fix the potholes instead?”.

The solution is to have people and or agencies that work behind closed doors. Have officials that work publicly. sinple.

So you get some public officials to speak publicly on said goal. Have em say righteous and scary things like: “we need to deter Xstan because they’ve done evil deeds”, “The leader of Xtan is unhinged! No telling what he might to next”.

Behind closed doors find something that provokes Xtan to take some sort of crazy action that when put out of context the people of your country would despise Xstan’s leader for.

Once the people are in that state of mind, you’re free do to whatever you want with Xstan.

Wait wait… You’re getting ahead of yourself there bucko! People gotta eat before they can do ya any favors. You can burn a lot of calories going up flights of stairs and
